The Cotswolds is an area that retains its beauty all year round.
The golden stone buildings provide a unique backdrop to the most attractive part of the British Isles. Small cottages exist in harmony alongside great manor houses.  The historic wealth of the wool merchants that built the monumental churches has been replaced by the signs of modern success.
The area was a capital of England in Roman times.  Roman activity can be seen locally at the Chedworth Roman Villa and in the Corinium Museum in Cirencester.
